mods i think that'll improve performance. fully tong exhaust system, bigger carb and jets, new block, hard-top piston, relatively new clutch plates, sp sprocket hub.

 

i dunno. but seems to me, 428 is for bikes like rxz,125z etc.. i may be wrong thou.. but i feel they're not meant for sp as sp is pro-arm technology.

but that day i ask the mechanic and he said change bigger carb not much diff, only better pick up but affect top end.... is wat he said true?

firstly when you want to do serious modding with your bike, choose a mech and stick with him. he'll be the one who knows what are your bike characteristics. strangely enough, 2 fully stock SP can perform differently.

 

if you need a recomendation, go to Xing Hock and look for ah pin. tell him you wanna mod so that your bike can be faster than samuel's. hahaha! jb would be much cheaper and so far haven't really met any bikes that were modded in SG that can win bikes that were modded in JB. be it krr, sp or 125z.

 

then you need to know your budget. would your interest in modding last? are you afraid of getting caught for illegal pipe? if you mod your bike, what's the purpose of it? for racing or just for personal satisfaction?

 

parts you can mod include: carb, top cylinder head, top block, coil, gearbox, valve, exhaust, belly, reedvalve, sprocket hub, piston sizes, airbox. then you can play around with carb jets, sprocket sizes.

 

428 can't give you both better top end and pick up. it's only one of them. but can't remember which alr. and i feel that it's unnecessary spending.

 

different mechs have different opinion. some think that 428 is necessary, some not. some think that chamber is necessary, some not. that's why it's better to stick with one and not change shops.

hmmm, that depends largely on whether the 2a bike got mod anot... if i full mod my cb400, i dont think your sp or that krr can catch up lor

 

maybe dont even need to full mod, just change to a full system and remove the powercut is more than enough liao

why must mod? singapore also cant run fast unless u travel 90% on the expressways.. even on expressways also got limitations.. hmmm.. if a modded 2b bike can win 2a bike, ppl upgrade for wat rite?

and im transferring the scottoiler, thermometer, hydrometer etc to my next bike, (if i change bike)...

if riding a stock bike is boring, then you're missing out A LOT on riding...

 

 

anyway, imo, there's a reason why the manufacturers release a bike in the condition that we call as stock. otherwise there'd be another rat race between them to create the bike with the most "mods", just like the rat race to make the fastest production bike.

u mean smoke from the gap? nop no smoke from there leh.. the gap reali small... the leakage oso very slow but then everytime i ride den my wheel dame dirty sia... rim oso... btw hw much it cost ar to seal with the silicon thing? can find in AGL?

 

 

go find high temp. silicon gasket from any hardware shop. should not cost you more than 5bux.

 

remove the endcan (its just allen key screws), put the gasket paste on to the part that contacts, and put it back in. its that simple!

 

 

 

anyway, modding ur bike... well.. i like modding my bike! i dont like to ride a stock bike! it SUX HAHAHAHAHHA
