told me tat need to go motor thiam for the inspection becoz of the footrest

i bought my bike got racing foot rest liaoz... i tot its stock.. sp stock foot rest got the black rubber thingy right?

to all sp rider: my fren sp got stolen at Orchard Cineleisure carpark on 15/09/07 at around 2am his numer plate is FS2953R whole bike white colour if found plz contact the police or can call 96920699 thx alot.

By right its illegal but most inspection centre actually go by left. They just close 1 eye abt it.

 

...i always go inspection by myself..so far no issue !!!

 

most impt is muffler / exhaust system la....illegal or modified cannot !

then safety lor..brakes & lights must works....simple

No worries..Can pass..Just make sure your tyres still got enough thread..Lights (Signals/hedlights) working properly..Horn..Brakes (front and back) working properly..Alignment is straight..And most important your pipe is not too noisy (modded)..

Not too sure about that..The last time I was runnin in for my new piston and rings I kept to the most left lane and guess what? I was horned more than twice by lorries..buses and etc..I moved more to the the left and let them pass..If I don't they might just run me over.. I mean 10,000km? How many full tank is that gonna take?

oic... as long as rpm kept less than 7rpm can liao.. so my bike like 80km/h.. okay mah... i do run in for my block early year.. actually planet ah chong said 5000km can, but kia su 10,000km.. haha.. i kia su bcos block cost me $400...

For piston and rings only..No need run in so much..500-1000km should be enough..

we do have our very own SP Riders Forum, with a FAQ section also if you need help.

 

usually if you buy from a shop, the price will be higher, but with less hassle. maybe some of the current sp riders could sell you also? but obviously some ppl will try to 'chop' a newbie, so you have to beware and ask around also.

 

nsr150 has 2 main kinds, nsr150rr and nsr150sp. basically both are almost the same, but the rr has a 24mm carburettor instead of a 28mm (sp carb). other than that, the internals and external looks are almost the same. the rr also comes with a swingarm design compared with the sp's single sided swingarm (proarm). more ppl would want to buy a nsr150sp cause it looks nicer with the single sided swingarm

 

FF plate? im not sure what he means too. the first batch of nsr150sp are FP plates. all the way till FV/FW (which are very few) where they stopped registering it.
