Ju (shyorange) will be booking a chalet for all sp forumer at mid-march (tentative)[/size]

Will be through the weekends (checkin:fri checkout:sun 3D2N) so that it'll be convenient to people who are working/schooling

Cost of chalet will be paid fully by Ju (thanks JU!)Chalet would be either changi (make noise like no one's business!) or aloha loyang (beach!)

Forumers need only to pay for the food/drinks~ $15 (TBC)

Things to note:

BBQ on the first night.

Please bring extra clothings, even those who are not staying overnight.

Strictly for sp forumers only! (forumers in sp thread *look at RESPECT*) who has come out with us at least once or twice

-we'll be organising a few outings soon to allow new forumers to meet up =) (will be posted)

FOOD WILL BE NO PORK NO BEEF!

alcohols are to be self-bought (i suggest those who wan alcohol to share the price themselves)

jackets and torch lights!!! (most prob visiting OCH and japanese sch =) )

try to bring some entertaintments!! (beach balls, frisbis, PS3, majong sets, poker cards)

bring enough cash to makan and play!!

weeeuuuu weeet. saw some of the SP guys at ah gua lane juz now. nice seeing u all! =D.

btw orange, u know when u buy car right, go msia petrol muz at least 3/4 tank. than u can go fix something at ur fuel meter there, when u press the remote control, it will automatically go up to 3/4 or wherever u program it to be. so can still go msia and pump petrol. cheaper alot when pumping for car. lol.

but if kenna caught fine is 5k.

i'm 30. ya, i got jb number but i'm made in spore. nice place ah, when i reach there, i park my bike @ my in-law's hse, go by car 1. so i dont really know the place name cos i'm just a passenger.

ani got gal intro bo, i eat till so old dun even haf a gf b4 sia.

jb petrol really lose spore. i always pump malaysia v power & sometimes spore v power, spore v power is smoother & engine quieter. but of couase lah, 2x the price mah.

kinda related to the octane booster.

guess putting it with fuel will improve the "quality"

i only use octane booster from stp the other one i nt sure.its made of jet fuel and it helps to boost up the performance.normally a engine will get old mah then we add in octane booster to maintain the performance lor

yup something like tat but otane booster is purely octane booster made from jet fuel whereas petrol one nt that strong enough but beware never try v power or caltex platinum those high end petrols with the booster as ur engine gets very hot and can run very fast but prob is ur 2t will be boiling under ur seat.those mid range petrol plus octane booster will become gd enuff to compare with v power or better.if wan to treat ur bike gd then u try pour octane booster into ur tank once every month lor.

just to share some stats with you guys, since it was released to the media...

Overview

Against the backdrop of an increase in vehicle and human population, 2007 saw an increase in the total number of injury and fatal accidents. Overall, the fatal accident and fatality rates for Singapore has remained relatively consistent over the last 5 years. The casualty figures rose by 665 casualties from 9,896 in 2006 to 10,561 in 2007.

Vehicle and human population has risen by almost 6.2% and 4.4% respectively, the highest percentage growth registered based on a year-to-year comparison since 2003. Taking into consideration these factors, the fatality rate per 100,000 human population has increased from 4.24 in 2006 to 4.68 in 2007. The accident rate per 10,000 vehicle population has increased from 2.34 in 2006 to 2.60 in 2007.

Key Messages

1. Traffic Police is concerned about three areas, namely speeding-related accidents, accidents involving motorcyclists and pillion riders, and drink driving-related accidents.

There was an overall increase in the number of speed-related accidents, from 1,656 to 1,766 cases in 2007.

The proportion of overall motorcyclist fatalities as a percentage of all road user groups has fallen by 6.7% from 2006 to 2007, with motorcyclists and pillion riders forming the bulk of all fatalities in 2007.

The number of drink driving-related accidents and fatalities fell in 2007. However, the number of persons arrested for non-accident drink driving cases increased.

2. Apart from public education and addressing motorcyclist fatalities through the setting up of the Motorcycle Task Force, Traffic Police will also continue to seek the support and cooperation of stakeholders to drive home the anti-drink drive message and enhance its enforcement strategy by deploying road blocks to 'ring-fence' drink drivers.

3. Road safety is everyone's responsibility.

With the expected increase in the vehicle and human populations as well as economic activities, our roads are likely to get busier.

It is thus important that the society at large sees the criticality of road safety and adopt a mindset of zero-tolerance towards irresponsible road usage behaviours.

While our fatality rate of 4.68 is comparable to other major cities, we can make our roads safer. Traffic Police cannot achieve this without the strong support of the public and road users. All road users should exercise more care, caution and consideration at all times. Road safety is everyoneâ€™s responsibility. Together, we can make travelling on our roads a safer experience for one and all.
