BTW anyone know the standard carb size we are having ? and what are the advantages of a larger carb ?

hm

bigger carb more fuel and air intake = more responsive?

possible or not? :cheeky:

i used to ride honda wave, recently i changed to sp,

freaked out when i couldnt start my bike in the early morning....

went to take mrt... haiz..

then asked my friend for help... luckily now i roughly know how to start my bike...

my bike is so problematic...

haha

how come sell away wave??

it's a nice bike~

anyway ways to make yr bike easier to start:

1. use choke

2. off headlights etc before kickstarting

3. off ignition key kick a few times then on ignition then kick

4. dont throttle excessively while kickstarting or before the bike actually starts

:goodluck:

I hate to kickstart too. Until now, I still can't kick start properly when I am seated on the bike.

I find standing on the right side of the bike makes kick starting more easy. :cheeky:

do the way u find most comfortable

but pls be careful not to let yr bike fall down onto u while kickstarting

saw this happening to a female SP rider before... :giddy:

mine fuel consumption worse le.... not over 100km already finish half of the tank....

heard from the seller that the previous owner poured 2T into the fuel tank... haiz

got problem with my throttle too...

1/2 tank less than 100km means full tank ard 180km?

sounds normal to me...

pouring 2T into fuel tank have gd and bad points

1 of the bad points would be spark plug gets dirty faster

anyway what's wrong w/ yr throttle?

not fast enough?

throttle abit is okie

but dont throttle excessively

will cause excessive petrol to flow to the carb or smth

ended up even more difficult to start :giddy:

yup

provide more lubrication & protection for piston

there's no need need to use the normal 2T pump and pre-mix together lar

how u ride plays apart on ur fuel consumption.

or maybe its time to do a full service to clear all the stuffs inside ur bike.

you must throttle abit after you kick the lever down, but not before you kick the lever down
