btw....how to know when to change spark plug ar? i change it by time basis...every 6 mth....any better gauge?

by mileage basis would be more accurate, usually around 5000km, but its just a guide, usually can go higher than that then change

what was told to me was that balancer supposed to help reduce the vibrations of the bike when travelling at higher speeds

but since ours is only 2B bike nia...high speed is not really high....so balancers = very limited use for us

:cheeky:

any other opinions?

oh i see i see... thanks for the info

6 months is too long.

Since u need only 1 spark plug, i suggest that u change yr spark plug everytime when u do an oil change.

Nike - Just do it!

Is there any other alternatives? Can we check ourselve? What are the things to look out for?

you can check yourself, but must open up the fairing, the left side to be exact for your info...check if got a thick layer of carbon built up around it liao

actually one should look at the colour of the plug ...although i dunt know how to ...i remember a webbie that teaches that ... i havent changed spark plug for a long time ..no problems at all ....i've also ride without balancers ( when they dropped out) ...felt no difference at all also

issit? for spark plug, i just changed not long ago, not much difference felt so i understand your point, as for balancers, i have not tried riding without it yet...cause vibration already quite heavy, cant imagine without balancer

besides color of plug

there's some specific stuff to look out for

like the measurement of the gap between the tip and the L-shaped thingy

and see if the tip of the plug is still sharp or not etc
