standby an ambulance at both the exit and entrance beforehand... you wun wanna waste time waiting for it to come when something u wun expect to happen happens :D

:dot: :dot:

anyway for those who wanna play 99 turn, becareful during the downslope...its quite steep...and for me, i feel the most dangerous part of 99 turn is you never corner low enough and stray onto the other lane...its only a single lane for both side...and imagine you stray onto another lane at a blind corner and another vehicle comes along from the other side...

I've gone there a few times in the past... 99 turns.

The roads there are full of gravel and sand these days... probably from the tipper trucks that ply up and down that place.

Most of the times I've gone there solo, or with just one other friends.

Two times though, I've gone there with a group of bikes. And both times, one bike went down. Both times were downhill incidents.

One guy skidded on a right hander. The 2nd guy also fell on a right hander... his bike hit the kerb and he got thrown onto the slope, and into the drain. Both were lucky to walk away with minor injuries and still rideable bikes.

I've not gone back to 99 for a year at least. That place is bad news. If it's not you, then it might be some oncoming vehicle that will run wide.

Go play in M'sia. There's the track. And there're lotsa roads there that are wider. If you don't like PG, then there's the road to Mersing via Kota Tinggi. There's the road up Awana/Genting. There's the Pos Slim route up/down Cameron Highlands (I love that one!).

wah seems like you are 1 of those riders that have toured through malaysia and conquered all the corners

i personally only like to play the 2 consecutive corners at 2nd link, exit from 312C, for heading back to Singapore :thumb:
