Best method take a voltmeter either handheld type or u may even borrow a real meter from your fren... test the "charging" voltage..

 

Rectifier maybe undercharging or overcharging the battery..

 

Magnetic coil I suppose not...

 

To add, u must check whether the rectifier u hav is compatible to the sp 1. I bring my sp 2 a mechanic once when i had the same prob n he say my rectifier spolit n asked me changed for a new 1. The power to lights was ok 4 a few days but aft while when i riding on highway the bike just died, no lights, nutti... i bought to another mech, then he tell me the rectifier is for super4! meaning which my sp batt's hav been overcharged all this while. just keep a lookout what mechs install 4 u in the bike.:thumb:

normal sp tank how big? mine i top up when meter touches red zone till brim 8 litres only leh..

 

sp tank total is 10.5litres .. res is 2.7litres .. so 8litres shud be normal ..

 

13 Litres... I use my petrol till nearly empty tank den i go n top up... hee...

Please correct me... If i'm wrong...

 

mine from juz enter red zone to brim is 9.2+litres. =)

 

guys .. dun worry too much abt FC .. i stil rmb w4m bro say de .. we riding sportsbike wat .. of coz we haf to sacrifice FC .. mine, include res was oni less than 180km .. hahaha .. PLUS, heard sumone 1 say b4(plz correct mi seriously, if im wrong), petrol intake too low, piston easy 2 jam oso .. tis 1 i not sure .. 2T too low i noe will b easy 2 jam .. petrol wise i juz heard frm pple sayin nia ..

 

but tis is 1 logic i came out myself .. u ate 2bowls of rice for 1 meal .. wif tat u can run 5km .. but suddenly, u change to 1bowl of rice for 1 meal .. n u expect urself to run 5km wif same spd n stamina .. do u tink u can ?? so i tink tis apply to bike oso bah .. ^^/ BUT PLZ CORRECT MI WIF THE ABOVE IF I MENTION ANYTINK WRONGLY !! corrections r appreciated ..

 

eh... u can say lidat.. but actually, how to check if ur petrol intake too little,

easy.. u drag first gear n 2nd gear... till 7+ 8 rpm.. if ur sp doesnt become weak in response, or feels lost in power.. means ur sp is ok.. =) coz these 2 gears dragging them is eating ur petrol.. so if ur fuel intake is too low.. u will feel the sp grasping for fuel. =)

yeah, be careful coz some shops might juz replace with a different rect if they cant find the same one... den install can wrk can liaoz.. dun care.. u pay u go.. prob comes, u pay again.. =)
