if it's the part underneath the fairing...then it's a common problem faced by KRR owners

 

common problems w/ KRR:

- stock exhaust stomach easy to rust (take out de-rust and respray)

- fuel gauge meter highly inaccurate (simply see gauge the amt of fuel left by the mileage u have travelled)

- engine easy to cool down..may have problem starting w/o using choke (juz use choke when u start bike)

 

common problems w/ SP:

- loose clutch housing resulting in rattling sound when at neutral gear (can be fixed by asking motordiam to tighten the clutch housing for u..but problem will come back one)

the part tat in middle part of the bike.. tat part is the Gold color( maybe oth machine is green so tat part is gold la) tat hold the wheel at the back lo... Hope u can understand wat i means....

anyway the premium for wave is higher cause the vehicle is new..FW FX plate..

so if u were to get a KRR which is juz as new...FW plate or smth...the insurance will also be higher compared to older plates like FU FV etc

that's the swingarm

how's the condition of the rust? does it look like one drop one drop kind??

cause when i bought my bike...the part of the swingarm near the front part of the rear wheel

got dots of rust...

it was caused by the lazy prev owner never taken out the whole battery when he topup the battery water...

as a result when the water frm the battery overflow...it kind of corroded away the paint on that area of the swingarm

after i bought the bike

i painted the swingarm black to cover up all the ugly looking spots

hehe...having a black swingarm is also good cause some of the dirty or the chain lube will fling onto the swingarm...so having it black kinds of make it less dirty looking

my cheetah alarm i bought 2nd hand for $30

bought and after fixing...realised the alarm have some problem...i cant adjust the alarm to very sensitive leh...so if pple were to do gentle movement...the alarm wont sound off one...it only sound off when kena slightly harder impact...

my alarm sensor i put at the storage container underneath the pillion seat...to increase it's sensitivity...i put a marble into the container together w/ the sensor...so when pple tilt my bike the marble will roll and hit the alarm sensor!!

 

and another gd thing abt the alarm which i dint realised until i bought it....

after installing...if pple were to turn on yr ignition w/o disarming the alarm..the alarm will sound off as well

wow,sound like e bomb in "new police story".cool sia. but u tink i should go bike shop and ask what is e problem? or jus go and ask to change brake pump?

i tink u should tell yr problem to the mechanic

ask for his opinion...see what thing need to be checked or changed

then u come back ask ask see if the price he quote u is alright

krr value not as high as SP cos still got production

FX krr IS 412 for 3rd party

both by mitsui
