0930----Meet up Time @ Kranji MRT

1000----Move Off From Kranji MRT(to Turf Club ave >> BKE)

1100----Gather again @ Shell after malaysia custom

1115----Move Off from Shell

1145----Reach Skudai, A&W (Enjoy lunch, Yeah!!!)

1300----Bike Accessories shop (at Skudai)

1330----Move Off from Skudai

1400----Reach Petronas (before Malaysia Custom)

----------pump petrol & c u all in next outing

Warning:

Things to bring :

1. $$$ SGD + RM + cashcard at least S$1 (use on 2nd link,SG and malaysia toll,RM1.60 cash)

2. Passport + WhiteCard

3. Try dont bring HandBeg (for gals)

4. follow the local speed limit(Highway,100-110km/h,city,50-60km/h)

5. rain coat (optional)

Hey bros and sis i want to bring my bike to workshop to get a better fc (current 16km/l) and also to do full servicing. Any good and reputable workshops to recomend to do sp? and around how much will it cost me?

What does full service include? decarbonize pipe??

im thinking of what can be done to make my FC higher like what nickster say.

currently my full tank can go 160km only.

i pump shell 98.

what can be done to make my FC shoot up to 200km?

and do you guys know how many litre does sp full tank contain? plus reserve is add on 2L right?

I wanna ask some basic maintenance question regarding about the SP cause I was thinking of getting one.

 

IS the maintenance of this particular bike expensive? I'll only serve me for riding to camp and back only, and maybe abit of movement on weekends.

I riding my SP almost 3 years. Totally no problems maintenance is cheap too.

The only big problem is parts kana stolen.

Sg u can try racewerks or planet.

Jb XHM is my only choice.

I dun think there such as full service. Cos u need to pin point wat r the things u wanna service/ change.

From wat i noe most people will define full service as changing pistons, wash carb, change plugs. etc as full service.

Decarbonize pipe is to clear out excess carbon built up in the stomach chamber and muffler.

If urs is stock condition, u may need top servicing. Check for wheels bearing oso.

Sp fulltank is 10.5L including 2.7L reserve. cheers

transfer fee is around $30+. and when u buy the bike from a private seller, u have to go down LTA and transfer ownership. thats about it.

maybe the brakedisc?

the eee sound might be signs tat the brake disc is dented.. thus the ee ee sound ..
