K6 onwards got built in gear indicator..

 

G.I Pro is done becos like Eugene who wants the Timing Retard to be remove from the 1st 3 gears of the Suzuki, the stock gear indicator wont work..Thus they incorporate TRE + Gear Indicator into GI Pro..

 

 

 

No wonder ahduck fever after Genting last time..

Ya.. but if the installation is not so complicated i think can give it a try la.. But it will have possibility to damage the gearbox, then just forget it lo cuz gear indicator is not necessary item for SP cuz personally ride on it rider should be able to feel the gears d wat.. lol..

Bro, if to get the gear indicator will make a lot of problem, advice not to play lo.. If u found some easy method to install u can share. think lot bros here quite interested on it but not dare to take the risk lo.. lol.. I really ever saw once la.. but any problem din ask the rider, hopefully it's not sot voltmeter as wait4me bro said just now.. haha..

Correct also lor. Dunno them la. Cuz i find it abit no use for SP using gear indicator. Jus personal point of view! :sweat:

another expert on this subject of gear indicator..

U also another technician, always in the DIY section ... Excellence Through Professionalism :sian:

 

use micro processor.

picks up engine rpm and speed. then compute and display gear position via screen.

Argh microprocessor ... I'm programming one these few WEEKS - program until no time to go out sia ... Cos the bugs are crawlin' and the worms wrigglin' :giddy:

 

I ever attempt to DIY a LED gear indicator last time using a reliable diagram provided by someone online..Some resistor rating cannot be found at even SLT..

Could be E48 or E96 resistors ... Try Farnell or RS
