sighhh, i did made a dam stupid mistake yesterday :cry:

parked my bike somewhere near bugis, the parking was dam tight,

my bike cld hardly come out, i had to push many times to get it in a position tht can exit,

finally when i wanted to move off, i was in a position tht was perpendicular to the front of another bike..

when i throttled a bit, my bike cldnt move.. i thot it was cuz the carpark ground dam uneven, and tht my front tyre was stuck in a hole..

so i throttled harder and moved slowly, and den a malay s4 rider who was smoking at his bike with his gf shouted OIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!

i turned right to see a DUCATI MONSTER leaning abt 45 deg to its right,

nearlyyyyyyyy on the floor, the only thing holding it up was it MUDGUARD, which was hooked over my pillon footrest!!!!! :faint: :slapforehead:

lucky i hadn't moved tht far yet, a bit more only the whole Ducati wld be on the floor liao -.-"

also dam fortunately the s4 guy was there, he faster ran to catch the monster and pull it upright, back onto its side stand,

unfortunately in the rush to catch the bike, when he pulled it upwards,

the mudguard was being forced into the opposite direction tht my bike was pullin it,

so the thing cracked :cry:

i dam dam dam gan jiong when i saw tht, my whole body my trembling,

i faster ask the s4 guy for paper, left a note saying sry & with my number,

den placed it on the ducati's oil tank.

 

last night at work he called me, he say his mechanic estimate abt $200

later 4pm i gotta meet him at the lavender showroom to get a new one

i wonder wats the price of oem ducati mudguard. maybe u can offer those carbon replacement if he wan it. it might be cheaper. for wat i guess oem stuff not so cheap. unless he willling to repair and respray.
