I really hope u do keep the bike in its current condition, and let it go to another new owner - instead of undoing what the previous owner has done to the engine ...

 

I believe a lot of new riders out there will appreciate a bike that was recently overhauled, properly serviced / set and ready to go - except for a new tyre and seat spring.

Also, is white smoke normal? I everytime stop at traffic light i can see smoke from my exhaust when I whack but other SP dont have leh.

 

Anyway hope to join outings in the future.

Mods for safety, power or?

 

Mods for safety would be to install hazard lights, loud horn, faster blinker relay (if yours is slow or laggy to start flashing) - these are fine.

 

Mods for power would be to open exhaust pipe (illegal), wash / re-jet carburetor and adjust the sprocket ratio.

 

RevTec? PM me if u want pics of a RevTec split open in accident - then u decide if it's worth

White smoke all the way is not normal. Either the 2T intake is too much, or (touch wood) the engine oil seal is burst and black oil is going inside the cylinder.

 

Get a mech to check it, before u receive $70 return-trip ang pows from the NEA ...

Get a mech to check it, before u receive $70 return-trip ang pows from the NEA ..

 

Wow. I'll go down to the bike shop on Monday. Anyway my right front and rear signals are not working. It just produces a loud buzzing sound like electricity is running but no light come out. Sometimes when I leave it overnight it will work for awhile then it stop working.

 

Oh and how much will the mech charge for adjusting 2T intake? And also for the engine oil seal? Hope its not exp. I scared i kena conned like last time.

Anyway I'm pretty satisfied with SP's pickup and speed. Have been riding Gilera DNA for few months and it vibrates like it bth when it reachs 120km/h. SP is great at speed, but I think I'm hungry for more.
