smaller bike most preferred is still BT39SS. although more $$$, it's alot more reliable.

Hmmm, But I cannot wait for class 2. Very long !! And I intend to ride 2a cause both rvf and fireblade I oso like the design, the sound etc. But comparing the power, I only ride before RVF. Nv tried a Fireblade before. SO wanna ask u guys who have tried both before and can roughly tell me the differences. Thanks in advance ! =DD

One is V4 engine, the other is inclined.

One is Semi-square headlight, one is round.

One is inverted fork, one is conventional fork.

One is pro-arm, one is swingarm.

IF both buang, both also expensive to repair....

Everyone have it own fast bike, so it really up to you to choose which wan u consider as fast bike.

Fast or slow, is depend on the rider. Of cuz bike CC play apart.

Got the ball to open... Just open only. Anything happen, u will be the one hu is answering. Not us!!! IF license kena kan tong, den sorry to you... IF endanger other road user life, please stay far away from road.

Not scolding you or saying u. Just wan to have my voice out. Sorry if i say anything wrong. DUn flame me~~ :p

hey guys i just bought myself a second-hand SP.. it's my first bike.

just a few questions. full tank including reserve roughly 9 to 10 litres and can last how long? 250km can? i heard of atom power but not sure if it is useful. i stay around bedok and will be going to camp at jalan bahar every day. so one day i will clock around 80km back and fourth. as for fuel consumption, i read it depends on how you ride. how do you guys ride on expressway or normal road..

often go up gear 6 or maintain gear 5? i tried pillion riding just now and the engine sounds more noisy than riding alone and it seems difficult to pick up speed with pillion.

diff sp their fuel consumption diff,

actually no point buy something if even it wrks, u're still the one opening the throttle big big...

6+k rpm on expressways lo..

ard 90-110..

gear 6.. not 5 unless upslope..

with pillion definitely harder to accelerate

Suck it n ride!

Power wise, U think RVF or Blade more torque ?

If it endangers other road user life, definitey I will be endagering myself as well.

When I ride Sp that time, so piss of with cab drivers all the time.

Drive at two lanes [on the lines], cutting lanes abruptly wthout signalling.

Speeding unneccesary etc..

Life is precious and I know that.

I know u got until class 2 license, so wanna hear more about these two bikes from u =DD

Asking advice on personal opinions, not base on facts.. From what I heard from one of my fren, RVF got lesser torque den CBR 400. Thats his personal opinion though. Neither is it evident base nor proven. I personally like RVF more, But due to its price, I'm consdering fireblade as well. Hmmm.... Stress lol..

I went to a bike shop for a price quote on NSR150.

Was quoted a downpayment of $500 and monthly $170 for 2 years. All include insurance.

i'm 18 btw. My first time buying bike so not sure if its a good price or not.

And why some shop $500 some shop up to $1500? Which is better?

Usually ppl use 110/70 for back. bt039 :p though 090 is a better grade tyre and 120/70 seems to be a better tyre size

Tested both machines on PG a few times ( my own blade and my buddy's rvf )

Appears that his rvf has better mid range power for coming out of corners, my blade needs a higher rev to get the same amount of acceleration.

However when its on long straights blades usually hits the max speed 1st. (assuming both bikes on similiar mods and equipment)

For sg roads rvf seems to be better choice coz the power is on the mid range where we usually ride. Somewhere from 6000+ to 9000+rpm. Both are incredible machines though (side note rvf seems easier to corner as well! feels lighter to flick somehow maybe its the design or the pro-arms or the inverted forks)

Riding the cbr felt like riding a big 1000cc though lol.. a rvf size felt more like a 600 maybe.. width wise. Thats all my own personal experience!

WtS cbr4 next april or may~ lalala
