hi all, I juz got my sp after passing my tp, i bought it from a shop from auto bay @ ubi. the sp comes with a air horn and the shop owner told mi its legal, can anybody confirm on it? I'm not too sure whether its air horn but the horn its very loud as compare to normal sp horn.

 

hope u fellow sp can giv mi 2 cents of opinion. thx

 

If you horn run by electrical, its alright to use & is legel. If the horn run by electrical & air, its air horn. Illegel to use.

 

Hi guys, I have a question. When my sp reaches rpm 4.5 - 5 the bike will give out a stuttering sound while maintaining throttle, have to throttle alittle more to make the sound go off. What's the problem huh?

its called bogging if im not wrong

the bike will tend to jerk around that range, is bo bian 1.

avoid crusing at that range.

 

i dun noe if the jerking will damage ur engine anot la

hafta as the lao jiaos.

 

It would damage the engine. It is normal...

 

oh.. what is there a need to clear carbon?

 

To clear away all those unburnt 2t or fuel. Pay rm45 to ask the jb bike shop to help your burnt all the unwanted carbon away or you may clear carbon yourself running at high speed. ( travelling at more than 140km/hr )

 

Can you teach me how to go?

anyone know what size tools i need if i want to remove all my fairing for cleaning and remove my fuel tank?

 

Metric Allan keys sets. If i'm not wrong, Use either size 3,4,5 for fairing. For fuel tank, need medium size adjustable spanner will do. As for the fuel tube, either use long nose plier or hand to remove it..

I wanna ask, I whack my bike gear 3 till redline. Then upgear, then continue whack for 3 secs.

After that I slow down.

 

Why is there burning smell? Where does it come from?

I also have this problem, still running in new piston... Sunday pump full tank then today ride abt 60km plus then I'm just above 1/2 tank... Sian...

 

Anyone suggest any fuel saving riding style??

Evening SP's... If there's a marracas sound inside the cylinder, what does it mean? Piston scratched? Piston Ring?

Most of the sound come from between the RC Valve Logo and the Cylinder.

 

I think its not the cause of 2T cause i always top-up every month full bottle. Then i use one straw of 2t put inside petrol tank every petrol top-up 10.00 litres.

My journey is every 4 days per week from Sengkang to Airport riding 110km/hr average.

 

 

The maracas shakes faster if i rev.

maybe the mech didnt set the tuning correctly??

my previous sp b4 setting was 140km per full tank..

after proper setup... went to 270-300km per full tank.. tested n proven.. =)

 

for others sp.. i m not sure... but have to depend bike to bike basis...

Yes of cos will affect the piston.

Not only dat if its spoil or outta alignment its not the ring dat comes into contact with the block its the piston itself.

if the bearing is damaged high chances the ring and piston itself need replacement. u be lucky if u can still re-use the block without re-bore or replacement.

But since already open up and paying for labour charges. just replace both rings and piston to save unwanted trouble in the future.

but still functioning.. might go dead anytime...

better send for a check, rather than paying or or getting into an accident due to the problem.. =)
