hi all, anybody know Fc for sp can it be adjusted or it depends on ridding style? can anyone help mi? juz got my sp not long then the fc quite high duno is it my ridding style or engine prob..

among all that ride in my unit, i'm the only under 24.

I have a 26 year old 1SG that just pass recently.. hes allowed to pillion and i'm not.. seriously lol not that i wanna pillion ppl but isnt it lame?

 

Well , saf usually have policies that include loopholes and are usually quite dumb, especially when it doesnt really affect those setting the policies.

 

For instance theres a CO that banned all who rode into the camp for 20 days after a bike accident involving 2 in service personel.

 

Theres also very little investigation done to the case and was dimmed rider at fault from my point of view.

went to bikers paradise today to get my SP checked out for the same problem... from what Andy (power and very friendly mechanic there) told me, your FC is affected by a few things:

 

1) carberator: clean? fuel jet worn out? size of air/fuel jets too big? the settings for fuel and air have to be properly calibrated so that your engine gets the optimum mix of air and petrol, ie twist throttle then go right amount of power and also not leaking oil

 

2) valve: need to service and get them cleaned if not carbon build up affects the combustion process

 

3) is your engine stock condition: Andy informed me that stock SP has good FC, but once you start modding your bike, you need to readjust the settings again...

 

4) riding style: the more your wack your engine, the more petrol it will drink

 

5) where you ride: stop and go traffic conditions will consume more petrol than expressway riding where you have your throttle open constantly

 

thats what i gathered so far, hope this is helpful to you... im still learning abt my SP also, so hope the other SP lao jiaos can fill you in more...

 

 

went to bikers paradise today to get my bike checked out cos FC very high (140 and just above E)... went there and had to wait for a while, andy havent arrive yet but no problem... did a very good job servicing my carb, needed to change a few of the jet because the settings not matching... also helped me adjust my clutch and throttle cables so they feel a lot better now...

 

going back tmr to change 1 more air jet, top up full tank again and test the FC again... thanks to sandyanne, andy and bikers paradise, the service is top notch...

hmmm.at the bottom of it then my fairing all kena also leh.i though nothing want.but just now i go in malaysia want spray my bike so my fairing all there then i ride back the bike no fairing then my leg got alot of drips of the black oil.any idea?

no la...the guy confirm buang liao den jus anyhow park on the pavement...it was on a grass patch behind a bus-stop xia..super random place...the sp gear footrest funny xia....u know what is indian muruku? the footrest turned into that shape...and never break?! amazing...the fairing condition was horrible....break in so many places....saitao crack....the frame of the bike which mounts the fairing oso bend in...damn jia lat la...my friend jus damn suay....for nothing..bike got taken away and now he finds it back in such a horrible state.
