You can tune urself one lehx(With the help of a few friends), need to have a place with corners and smooth road + u must know hw to feedback on ur feel cos need to do fine adjustment here and there...But always recommended to tune after servicing the fork etc etc..

hi all SP bro , i might be interested to purchase a SP , any lobangs where i can view online first other than the bike mart here ?

 

look at the bike mart or garage sale under the buy/sell section of the forum... if all else fails, try the search button...

 

you can also post an ad under the WTB section and wait for ppl to contact u if they have a SP they wish to sell...

 

can view the advertiser threads and look at which shops are selling SP.... not a complete listing cos many shops dont advertise on SBF, but the more popular ones do (ASP, HLC, Heng Motors)...

 

lastly you can look up the motor tiam review thread on the why pay more section... just post that you are looking for a SP and wait for the shops who frequent that thread to pm you....

i feel the best option is to find a seller on the garage sale and have an experienced friend come down to view the bike with you.... new rider = dont know what to look out for and get ready to be chopped....

 

when ppl want to sell a bike they usually talk only abt the good things abt their bike... personally i dont care about the good things, i want to know whats wrong with the bike so i can prepare myself financially to service the worn out parts.... thats where your experienced rider friend comes in; he is there to point out the faults with the bike so you as a buyer have more bargaining power to lower the price....

 

one seller (honest guy who i eventually didnt buy his SP, sorry dude), once told me: outlook is easy to do up, inside (engine health) is whats important....

Bike got towed to Motor tiam this morning.

Opened up everything n check, and so it was...

piston jam. Lucky block ok. Change the piston nia... $200. (Is it ex ?)

Anyway, which tiam u all usually go ? I often go bikewerkz for repairs.

piston jam. Lucky block ok. Change the piston nia... $200. (Is it ex ?)

For now, I also damn easy to reco. Bandages all over me. haha.

I am abt 1.7 tall n ba ba.. meat meat..

 

Sent in to repair today. Ah beng unassemble my bike n show me the piston. Told me can collect by evening.. but till now still no call from him.
