actually blackheart how u noe when u need a coolant flush??

i always thought that container beside the 2t container is e coolant..then i ask my mech...he say is not that...coolant is in front...then i'm like blur diao

the plastic container beside the 2T is the coolant resevoir, ie.the place that you fill up ur coolant... the actual cooling effect is at the front, the radiator there..and thats the place where the coolant from ur reservoir runs to and gets cooled by the air...two places to make sure coolant is filled

1. Coolant reservoir

2. Open up radiator cap and check

haha, correct me if i m wrong anyone? :cheeky:

... too much coolant in the radiator. it will flow to the resev. when the radiator have enuff space more more coolant it then will draw more coolant from the bottom of the spare bottle.

if what blackheart said is true, then i think my rubber tube is faulty, cause i once ran on reserve for 15km before i pumped..

oh man, i'm kinda worried..

There's 2 tube if remember correctly, one short one long both facing up when installed. So when yr switch is turned to on, the valve will feed petrol from the longer tube, when you ride till the petrol level low, the longer tube will not be able to feed petrol anymore, that's when turning the knob to the reserve and it will feed from the shorter tube.

Your tube is not faulty or whatever, if you never see the thing b4 it's hard to visualise. Perhaps it's too short? Cuz my frd when changing I saw the mech cut it shorter...dunno y also.

huh? u mean the tube which connects to carb or theres 2 tube inside the tank?

if the tube connects to the carb it will have no effect on how much res the tank have...

sometimes opening up radiator cap is advisable, esp when ur bike temp runs high easily cos the tube linking the resevoir to the raidator might be blocked/constricted etc...

when that happens, the resevoir will be full, but the radiator will receive little or no coolant circulation

oh no, i mean bubbles in e fluid reservoir...e box near e front brake lever

for example if u unscrew e reservoir cap and while its exposed u juz tilt e handlebar abit or wind blow or u top up fluid, cos of the surface movement bound to have air bubbles at e surface..thats ok

UNHAPPY with shell?

Take your money elsewhere then. I did.

sorry, newbie here, may i ask what's the air pressure for the sp tyres?? thanks..

i heavy + pillion alot . so i use 230 rear 200 front

my friend 60kg use 200 rear 180 front...

if u pump more then the tire will be rounder, therefore less grippy...

I use 200 also, pump more if you pillion often loh, but beware that if your tyres are stock size (or bigger) + pump high pressure, you will feel cornering bike cant go down, when riding tyres will heat up, air inside will expend.

One more thing pump when tyres are not hot.
