General rule of thumb as spoken by my fren that time for street riding gear shift RPM range,

 

Note your RPM when on 6th Gear cruising @ 100km/hr, use that RPM to shift thru every gear..That's your optimal street riding shift point..

 

It doesnt make your pickup faster or better when you over-rev the RPM..

Dbl rev will make ur bike surge forward once u release the clutch to the biting pt which in turn makes u believe that u're launching faster..

 

For me, i prefer holding the clutch to the point before it actually bites and throttling off smooth and fast...

 

And oh ya, revving it before setting it in to the biting point will actually kill off ur clutch plates and probably bite off ur gears faster...

 

And i dont see GP bikes dbl revving before the lights go off to get a better start..Instead, they holdthe throttle...

WHAT IS double rev ?

 

You heard some riders doing the "pehhh pehhh" before changing gear??

 

In other words, it's blipping the throttle before upshifting although naturally it's done before going into a turn for downshifting so that the engine RPM can match the rear wheel speed to reduce fishtailing..

changed a CDI and now got some weird sound .. haiz dunno y so many problem .. maybe i never sayang her much:cry:

Slowly ah, as what cliv told me before. "Ni zhen yang dui dai ni laopo, ta jiu zhen yang dui dai ni." How you treat her is how she reciprocate. So rectify each problem lor. Once done she'll will be treat you nicely. (:
