do at kok ping... cheaper and sounds better imo... lay up is when ur road tax expire and u don wanna renew....so ur bike cannot be ridden on the road..only park at carpark or workshop...

really???

u not going meh ???

1. u lying

2 others lying

i wonder which

thats for me to know and for u to find out...

if your going to be in NS and you cant touch your bike for a few weeks, then a 2 way alarm is pointless... imagine you are in camp and your alarm goes off cos your bike has been moved... not possible you tell your PC or Sect Commander that you have to book out o check on your bike what? even if your alarm remote goes off there is nothing you can do but suck thumb...

like w4m bro has said, cover + disc lock is enough... the disc lock actually prevents people from moving your bike (its immobilized, mostly) and the bike cover will keep prying eyes from your wife....

yea... thats the best solution....

just take out handle bar lor

you think like Mr Bean ah... take out the steering wheel....:sian:

How do we say this , And where do we start

Everything hurts, Especially our heart

It hurts us so much, That we can see you no more

I wish we got to say our goodbyes, Before you walked in Gods door

We missed you dearly , And we try not to cry

But we know we'll see you later, So this is not our goodbye

stomach i heard is 200RM.... got 1001 mods to make your bike faster, but are u willing to part with the $$?? (please refer to my signature)

there is only so much speed you can squeeze out of our 150CC machines.... and remember good fuel consumption and great speed/pick up rarely come as a package, so if you dont mind doing 100km full tank then mod away!

Cheap + fast = no good

Cheap + good = not fast

Good + fast = not cheap

Hi guys,

couple of questions on SP.

1) My bike on cold mornings (nvr start for maximum ONE day only) takes alot of kicks to start, changed my spark plug, still same. i park on a slanted slope, anything to do with it?

2) Next, when I wanna ride off after the troublesome kickstarts, the bike takes high revving to get started and couple of times when I'm finding the biting point of clutch, something inside slips. can hear a TAK sound. Any idea what that is?

3) When I'm riding halfway, engine suddenly just die. have to stop by the road and kickstart. thats after quite a fair distance of riding already.

kind forummers, please tell me, what. up?

Posted

1) cold mornings engine is harder to start.... maybe have to pull choke for a few seconds (10 or 15?) to let the petrol run and the engine get warm... SP is an old bike, this kinds of problems are normal...

2) do you give your bike ample time to warm up? a warmed up bike feels a lot smoother to ride than one that is ridden cold.... gear changes will happen easier and throttle response is more fluid... take a few minutes (2-5) to let your bike get nice and warm before riding off next time, it will ensure a smoother ride and also prevent premature engine damage....

3) is your petrol on?

either way, get your bike checked out at a reputable motordiam... check carburator and battery, may need some tuning.....

Cheap + fast = no good

Cheap + good = not fast

Good + fast = not cheap

thanks. yeah the petrol is on. anyway, does everyone turn off petrol all the time when the bike is switched off? i mean i ride it daily so i dont turn it off at nights.
