Hi guys,

 

couple of questions on SP.

 

1) My bike on cold mornings (nvr start for maximum ONE day only) takes alot of kicks to start, changed my spark plug, still same. i park on a slanted slope, anything to do with it?

 

2) Next, when I wanna ride off after the troublesome kickstarts, the bike takes high revving to get started and couple of times when I'm finding the biting point of clutch, something inside slips. can hear a TAK sound. Any idea what that is?

 

3) When I'm riding halfway, engine suddenly just die. have to stop by the road and kickstart. thats after quite a fair distance of riding already.

heyy same victim here exactly what you said is true..

i heard from pple that it either you need to wash the curbarator or battery

really piss man, have to stopped from a roadside juz to kickstart again.. -.-

guys, when you all ride, do you all hold the handle grip very tightly or relax? the vibration from road seems to travel onto you hand if the more tight you grip. I am wearing a gloves to reduce the vibration. Can anyone advice me what else can I do? thks.

Time to service bike? or rear brake pump giving problem? carb got problem? I newbie.. paisay that my 2 cents worth..

dont know leh... that time was a newbie. so i got no friends are rider...

maybe riding experience not enough ba... then now hear from my shop say that my carb abit faulty liao... kns... he give me 2 choices, one continue use but the fuel will drink more than usual another choice is to change but 200+.. sigh~~~

I ride sp for few year Liao and encounter problem lk yrs. Just off yr oil, off yr ignition and the off the engine button, off yr headlight. Then U kick start for a few time! Afterthat u on back everything and pull the choke. I confirm u can start easily. Seldom come to bike forum so I hope my tips works for people having this problem.
