Hi guys, i feel like getting SP but my friend suggested KR or 125Z instead coz he said it will be easier to find parts compared to SP. Is it really that difficult to get hold of SP parts compared to KR or 125Z? And is Kok Ping at the ah gua lane?

Thanks in advance :D

what actually so good about kok ping i dun understand? he charges cheap or skill very good? i was chop once over there and nvr been there again. 80rm for tunning my carb, in the end i only saw him changing one of my jet which does nt explain the price. btw i dun trust that lane of bike shop anymore as i had paid enough school fees. even my malaysian fren who used to b mechanic in jb told me those bike shop get parts from singapore, so y nt just do ur servicing in singapore instead? just hoping to help some fellow sp rider here to b clear abt what they are spending on. my humble one dollar only

Who says getting sp's parts are difficult? It's all about the person's knowledge level of sources. (tons of sp parts at scrapyard) I do admit sp's parts are more harder to find as compared to kr and 125z. But trust me it's not that HARD.

If you're referring to finding parts for sp in Malaysia. It's almost impossible because Malaysia don't have sp. (never see Malaysia plate sp before!!)

And yes kok ping is indeed in jb agl.

:)

Ohh i see.. But maintenance wise and petrol wise for SP, KR and 125Z they should be around the same right? And since kok ping is in JB, do they have parts for SP? Coz you said it's almost impossible to find SP parts in Malaysia. Hahah.

Honestly i'm not too sure just that i've been reading this thread and ppl keep saying go kok ping. So i guess they must be cheap and good compared to singapore?

:D

can u spend 300 -400 on wear and tear parts or repairs every month assuming u got a lousy sp?

i feel its practically impossible to find cheap and good

yet u can find expensive and not being good..

cause if they are good , why should they be cheap?
