Nope, the choke doesn't seem to help either. Tried kick starting with the throttle closed and open, still no luck.

 

Think he meant after 2 years of riding?

my bike chain recently get loose . and when i went to bike shop to ask for tighten , as what other always do . the uncle say cant tighten anymore .. is there any solution of doing it other than changing new chain ? like shorten the chain to tighten to increase the tension. they say loose chain will cause breaking of chain .

 

anyone change chain in jb ? best shop offer ?

Ask another bike shop for opinion. Don't mess around with a loose chain. It's dangerous if it snaps

recently been to kok ping . quite honest . front fork oil change rm40

maybe we should start sharing any good or bad shop encounter ?

either fact or fiction or own imagination or biase

 

i would like to share my here , just sharing

been to kok ping , at first i ask to do bleeding for my front brake . then they say brake pump leak and fork oil low. they show with proof and factual comparison with a good one . after filling the front fork oil , tested and find brake pump though leak but still working back to normal with no jerking . he advise me since still can use just use till really cant make it then change .

 

i can conclude from here if their greed have overcome their honesty , they would have not tell me and continue on with the brake pump change .

is there such a case where is beyong tightening ? but loose chain will snap ? i tot is tension too high then will snap ? very confusing physic

If tighten and still become loose means new replacement. New chain and sprocket.

 

Too loose and the chain can fall off sprocket and jam your whole bike. Also dangerous.

 

If tighten too much cause you scard it become loose again, you risk it snapping. Also dangerous.

 

New chain and sprocket set is not very ex. ESP if you do in Jb. Just try tighten first, if it doesn't work, change.

Brake pump leak.. Please change also.

 

You won't want to risk your brake suddenly not working. ESP in Singapore roads.

 

And brake fluid is acidic. Will eat into paintwork etc. So if it's leaking out... You know what's gonna happen.

 

If leak on your tires, you risk skidding on road...
