cek yr on/off/reserve knob whether izzit at reserve.. cos if no petrol it went straight into reserve mood (w/o u knowing) and to no petrol..

u can top full tank and run wif the knob turned to reserve also can..

normally if yr knob is at on.. if bo petrol liao.. yr bike suddenly will jerk..(indication for u to turn to reserve) cos it is sucking petrol bit by bit as petrol goin lower, thurs causing the jerk.. at dis time den u turn to reserve lo..

my reserve can last bout 30+km..

anyway the night before yest i ran all the way till reserve

apparently needle below red still can jalan a bit, then after that auto cut off

 

my bike weird didn't shake or anything noticable leh, prob already shake so much already hahahaha

 

of all places engine cut while climbing this flyover, no shoulder

lucky i expect already, travelling slow, no vehicles behind me also.....free wheel down, twist fuel then kick start and zoom to petrol station hoping its not 40+km away hahahahaha

 

dun advise do this lah...next day suddenly my bike refused to start, today she go workshop now almost midnight still haven't come back

t0ok back my bike t0day...

they say carb is dirty and wash clan f0r me already....

then t0tal spent is $20... including tow... s0 i dunn0 how much

then i r0de back to my wrkplace f0r lunch....

den clean my rims, n check my 2T if i need to topup (c0z its like 3 weeks nv top up liaoz)...

saw nothin inside.... t0t can go ah boy buy the cheap cheap one n top up...

AGAIN... on the expressway... wanted to go higher than 120.... bike died down on me again..... sianz 1/2....

free wheel to rd shoulder (this time slowly liaoz)...

then tried to start again... bike is at AYE.. on the start of the slope b4 going down to rochor exit -.-

LL.. walked to carrefour buy a bottle of cheap 2t.. costs 3.90 (total racing 2t) hahaha

walked back again... filled it up... (b4 i went off... the temp was quite high.. ard 8/10 to hit red zone)

den start bike... wait for the 2t enter the piston..

finally can move liaoz.. s0 happy...

went to ah boy..

changed spark plug, eo... tot ok liaoz..

rode a while... saw the temp rise up 8/10 again

damn scared piston jam...

went back...

its was ard 5.05 tat time..

saw 2 forum guys (the R1 riders) buying brake pads.. f0rgot their names.. but thanks for helping me ask ah boy... they suspect my c0olant pump spoil liaoz..

in the end.. its was until 6.35 that no one come help.. though ah boy keep saying "wait ah, i call pple come down liaoz..." l0lz...

s0 i decided juz go lo...

Anyone noe how much is a airbox cost? & if go malaysia for petrol at 2nd link, where to u-turn back to singapore? cos jus now afternoon i went there alone, den dunno how to u-turn, so exit at dunno where den make a u-turn at the small road there... So suay, when reach sg custom, kana urine test... so have to waste my time there...

some1 pump 13 litres b4....the max i pump was 11.8 cos once into reserve, i will try to pa you liao...

The reserve switch is on the left side rite below ur fuel tank, its a black nobe with on, off, and resv on it.

 

If you wanna know how its feels before turning to Resv 1st make sure its put to 'ON' not 'RESV' if not u will be in deep trouble:mad: Everytime when u fill up ur petrol turn ur trip to 0000, start to ride till the red zone, ride until ur engine stall that means no petrol liao or when u trottle u feel wield or abit delay tats mean no petrol liao. Remember wat is the reading on ur trip eg.160 u have to remember this fig coz this is the distance a full tank can travel on ur bike.

 

When u put the nobe to 'RESV' remember u are out of petrol so find the nearest petrol kiosk tat is to ur prefence to fill up. Hope tis help:cheer:

It's the one right after Pontain exit..All the way u will be cornering a left bend..Until u reach the other side which is heading back to SG...

Feel like going but can't go la, cause they are going 2 places tis time, but the time reach home is morning liao Sat hv to work leh.

 

The last time when in with them reach home at 4plus ah. Partitally oso my faulty, bike breaks down.
