the mech say is too lean but the bike got power wor!

gallant, the meter at E is not exactly empty. u open the fuel tank and see inside got petrol? if have means probably on reserve.

for me, the real empty is when the needle is below E

i ever pumped 11.6 liters b4.

and no, my tank is not super four tank. is SP tank, proven and certified....

there is no overflow, no trace of petrol leakage. The SP tank is 10.5 on the manual, but is shaped to be able to take more.

if ur bike go into res then u cant start it, then something is wrong. better go check it out. that time i tested my res, the tank dried up but my bike can start after i pour in about 200ml of petrol from a bottle.

as for choke, u pull or dun pull wont spoil the bike cos wat the choke does is to open the carb to ensure maximum fuel intake, so that its easier to start with a richer fuel:air mixture

erm...ya

:btw: ..

everytime i pump full tank from empty needle,it shows i pumped only 7.5 litres of petrol,is it common?

Let me share, i normally pump 8.5 to 9 litres leh... Normally i can still see about a cm of petrol

from the tank bottom then i go pump... Pump to the limit till it is near the brim...

Gallant, 7.5 litres a bit little liao la i guess...After pumping, try wait for a while to let the petrol

"settle down" a bit cos of bubbles etc... My friends suggested shaking the bike GENTLY.

might help... our bike is not like phantom though, phantom cannot tilt up-right... So the

fuel tank still got space etc...plus most petrol station won't like u sit on the bike to pump...

Enjoy riding guys! Saturday tml!!
