Totally Newbi - from singapore to Vietnam on a phantom

Hi guys

 

Im a danish guy who is backpacking here in southeast asia.

Im currently located in Kuala Lumpur and is trying to figure out the possibiliites of buying a second hand motorcycle in Singapore and driving it to vietnam and selling it there (or close to vietnam).

I've tried to find some threads that explains this but I'm still quite confused.

So I'm sorry if this is an old topic - BUT:

 

- How can I make my dream come true?

- What are the major pitfalls?

Yes you can.

 

I did it myself a few years back.

 

If you want to claim balance COE ($$$) then you need to deregister the bike (paper work) otherwise no problem. Otherwise do not bother.
