I would say that different shop specialises in different things..Prices are roughly the same..But some you can bargain till its dirt cheap..

i always used to drop by at old Ah Boy shop which is located between the tunnel and petrol kiosk towards Sentosa but nw they have new shop at AGL so i still patronise them..

Their service is good not excellent i would say but i feel safer letting them repair my bike rather than other bike shops there...

If u wanna go JB for spraywork is can, but dun expect too much from them if compared to singapore one.. Another downside is that u have to leave ur bike there for abt 2weeks.. Did my SP paintwork there for abt RM300.. One colour.. If wan u can go Long Heng and ask lor..

Few bike shops there quite reputable & can even ask for good pricing. Only best to avoild Fridays, Saturdays & PH as its too crowded. So when not much people so can explain to the mechanic at the shop & they also can do a better job when have more time
