experience/advice needed

hi guys, this is my first post here so bear with me ya..just came back from Thailand recently and since it was my virgin solo ride there, i'm abit blur sotong. Now my main problem is that i did not return the thai temp vehicle form. i mean this form..

i'm planning to ride there this coming week but was told by a friend that my bike cannot re-enter Thailand cos i didn't return the form. meaning my bike is still in Thailand as far as the immigration is concern.is this true? i obviously do not want to ride all the way there just to get U turn back!

 

and to add salt to the wound, the form is now nowhere to be found!

i don't think kopi $ will do the trick cos it seems that those thai immigration officers abit ON la..

btw, my ride was from Bukit Kayu Hitam, in and out.

 

what should i do? any advise from fellow riders who had this experience.

just pay $$ bath 2000 next time with the same bike when you re-entry the thai immigration if they found out no big deal.

a friend was fined 10K (baht) for car so 2k for bike sounds like a good bargain.

Just prepare & pay 2000 baht.

 

I went through same experience. Went out through Bukit Kayu Hitam & tried to re-enter at Betong few months later. Their computer system will indicate so no need for u to bring the old form. Unless u want to try & re-submit hoping they will accept it.

 

For my case, no form. They screwed me a bit & told me to pay 2000 baht fine. They will issue u fine payment receipt.

I understand that as long as the form is returned within 1 month of the date of issue will be alright.
