these are rough average figure.........

18km/l for constant vtec is normal

20km/l for seldom vtec is normal

ver s can can get abt 25km/l

s4 crusing at high speed is quite ok.... not much vibration even up to 160km/h.... bike is quite comfortable jus like at speed of 60km/l....... ride the s4 to feel it......

depends on body size... if small built quite ok... if got wind sheild on bike better.....

keep body abit low n knee grip fuel tank... not much wind resistance...... jus dun try to be a "sail on a boat" if u get wat i mean......

if without box can handle bike better.....

hope this is usefull....

Yup, Amalfi.

Bought from Looi's at $13K, but think your deal not bad. Mine just 1/2 yr road tax, crash bar (2 pt small one), IU, bike cover, rain coat.

But then trade in of amalfi is higher there so ok for me lor.

hello everybody, i riding spec II . i pump fill tank ,now i travel only 170 km now only left 3 bar ( which is half tank) some more i all the way smooth ride nv drag rpm over 6 . is it normal or my consumption high?

Posted

agreed. 1st bar disappear only after 110+- km and full tank is about 360km for me, so u cannot judge on this kinda ratio or basis. try to ride till the meter blink lor.

Hello, if the fuel consumption is about 190 km, what to check? Is it time to change the air filter and oil filter? Please advise, as I just got mine S4 spec II for one week only, 2nd hand one.

Now my fuel tank only has one bar left, and I only ride 190 km. What's wrong with my bike?

don't depend on the digital gauge too much, not very accurate.

better if u clock ur mileage after pumping, den chk hows ur consumptn like (km/litre).

for me, after pumping to e brim, travel 80km only 1 bar down oredi. but consumptn is ok (ard 22km/litre)

The meter not accurate.

My meter blinked one day and I went to pump petrol. In the end, I only pumped 11 litres!! Everytime I also fill up to the brim...

If your exhaust got knock holes, then consumption for full tank is around 280 to 290km. If not, it should be 300 to 320km.

think hor, dun worry about it so much lar. can always judge the FC when ya pump 1 full tank and then after riding close to 300km, go for full tank again den u can roughly count how much petrol consumed over 300km & divide by 15l.

i noticed when u throttle more either at the beginning or at the higher speed, the meter will either go down 1 bar when its near the range. when u maintain den it will jump back. nothing much to worry about one, as long as u understand ur own riding style.

e.g: when i drag and drag, FC = 310 km for 15l

normal riding at 90kmph 6krpm, FC = 350-360km for 15l

my rides!
