So, after 5 days, i finally got my bike back from AC Motors last Friday.

 

breakdown of repairs as follows:

Gasket $60

4 x Valve $80 ($20 each)

Coolant $40

Engine Oil $28

Plug $8

Labour Charge $240

Total: $456, was charged $450

 

did i just become a carrot?

Hi, which brand of Engine oil that the shop change for u? plan to go there just change EO but is 1 can get similiar brand at Kaki bukit then shd be ok.

Anybody have ever servicing the carburettor ? Any good place ? Just drill a hole on my pocket . Changing ac generator. The old one is burnt. Too old. So ex here. But Ok compare going all the way to johor

Since my GTS is a bit old. it's always choked every morning.. my Automatic Choke seem busted.. asking around.. they dont sell any, even mah motor.. most of them say i have to buy the whole carb. found some part that might be compatible with it, have same Dia, and needle lenght.. it's from Aprilia gillera. but damn expensive here $180.. so i decide to source around for OEM parts then found it from greece

hi guys

i got a excel ii ,

but face a werid problem , i was trying out the full tank , to know how much it can run , so i carried a one litre bottle ,

then ran the bike all the way till out of petrol ,

so i pour my one litre in when it died on me, heres the part , after pouring the petrol

 

my bike like auto control , never pull trottle but its like in first fear going to pull off , have to hold on to brakes all the way

every traffic light after that , i off engine ,

thn go to the petrol statio n top up

after tat no such issue .

 

anyone face such things?

so i when to HKL, they change plug,airfilter,carburator floater,carb sevice, new battery and rear tyre cost me $270. After 3days later, still the same to start. Now bike feel heavy. Im thinking could be engine compression lost or startor carbon.

Anyone have this problem to share..

My Bike is could not idle in the morning, hard to start.. take me 10 start this morning.. ok.. about your bike.. after 30 Min the engine will stall right ? but afterward is the bike able to start again ? on hot day or hot engine, does the engine goes stall again ? when it's start to stall try to pull the gas, is it back to normal ? sound like your engine is having some difficulty to idle , carburettor or electrical is more likely the problem. have you tested your battery charging rate ?

 

For engine compression, you can tell by the sound, and if engine compression fail something is slip thru the piston, and try to look traces of oil on the spark plug. just to be sure there is device can be plugged to spark plug hole to check the engine compression. or Manually, you can crank teh engine without the spark plug inside. and from the hole you can feel the force.. though using device tester will be more accurate

 

 

When the bike is feel heavy, is likely something is choked. many thing like petrol suplly, air supply, etc.
