how much for new slim IU?

hi bros im thinking to change my current fat IU unit to the slim type cos it looks better la. my current IU is still working and not spoil, any idea if i can go to viacom or lta and request to change? how much will this cost me and can i trade in my old IU? thanx to all in advance

this is the slim type i am looking for

Btw bro may i know why you want to 'upgrade' to the 2nd gen slim IU? There's no functional difference between the 2 right?

Cost of the 2nd generation (slim IU) is S$155.80 (inclusive of GST).

Warranty period is 5 years from install date.

If you need the mounting bracket from Viacom, it's an additional S$15 but most bikers go to their bike shops to get one for much cheaper.

I don't think there's any trade in for old IUs but you can try and ask them.

Lastly don't forgot to update your season parking to the new IU number. 🤑

In projected mid of 2021, we are all in Q (18 month project for change) to change for the new OBU and it's free. It will size ... look a little like the 1st gen IU. So don't waste money and change for now.  Go find sticker and paste BUT as some rider feedback some sticker cannot be detected when passing by ERP gantry.
