Yamaha Xmax 300 - Lowering seat or seat upholstery in the west

Hi Bros and Sis,

Got a new Xmax but its too high. I heard from the dealer, can 'cut seat' to reduce the height then i don't need to tiptoes.

Anyone got any recommendations for bike shop in the West?

@Kiapkiapthe xmax is a v high bike from the factory.. if they make it lower i think they will sell alot more units, esp for asians who are smaller size.

you can go for the original yamaha comfort seat, i think cost about 300 bucks. more comfortable than stock but a premium price tag. i heard can only put 1 helmet underseat instead of 2.

otherwise locally cut seat, you can try auntie sticker @ 411 Jalan Besar Singapore 209014 near to lim ah boy. or the other one is 219 motorshop 213 Lavender St, Singapore 338770. best to call before you go down to see if they can do it. cost should be 100 or less.

@Kiapkiap Money no object i'd go for the original Yamaha Comfort Seat for sure. I've tried it and it's really much more comfortable. Plenty for sale on Carousell ranging from $200-$300+. Make sure it's original though, plenty of fakes going around.

If you need the 2 helmet storage underseat, then your only option would be to go to an upholstery shop to cut the seat.
