Hi guys, new rider here. Just want to check, recently I purchased a handguard with lights online. Went to a workshop to ask them to help fix it on but they said it's illegal and they don't do it, it that true?

@AlmightyySam Yup that's correct. Aftermarket LED/HID lights are not allowed. This will not pass inspection. Some ADV bikes do install fog lamps but those have to be covered during normal road riding.

Also, they are also clamping down on workshops that are providing these 'illegal' modifications and the owner of the workshop might face a hefty fine or even jail term.

hand guard with signal light? Or Fog light?

either way, just dun connect the electric lor.. the main purpose of the hand guard is to protect your fingers if you fall and/or any flying debris /rain.

Kindly read thru at least the intro section first before decide to post any comments.... thanks...
