of cuz.. a lot of things..

1) Scratches - Major ones.. not minor ones.. See the scratches does it aligned up to a minor accident.. If yes, ask what's being replaced or done after the accident.

2) Fork - Rust/ leaking or "a lot of uneven surface".

3) Chain - Rust

4) Any other rust that brings out a major concern

5) Anything that seems crack or damaged.

6) Engine sound, use YouTube and search for that bike and listen and compared. - additional "metal ranting sound" is dangerous.. piston or valve might need to do.

7) Error codes on bike - Engine light should go off after a round with the bike (ask the owner to ride one round)

😎 Bike should be able to start at one press and hold on the starter.

Lastly, see what bike and update us again.. LOL

if you just gotten license, don't rush to get a bike
do some research first;

can read forums, magazines,
check around shops for prices,
rent the model and try for yourself to see if the model is the one,
talk to bike friends and listen to feedbacks etc.

If there's one thing you want to look for to make sure the bike hasn't been through a big accident... Original paint work. :)

Dropping of bikes... knocks here ding there... common. But if the bike has been through a big accident... usually it takes alot of work to put it back together and usually it doesn't behave like normal... so its best not to get those.
