I went to this lesson on the day when I passed the TP. When we ride out, a person fells while doing Uturn, and the coach didn't say anythings.

Passed my 2B TP on 1 Jul and have to attend the EFR before i can get my license. Its a different feeling experience when riding on expressway. Speeds are much faster than what I have experienced in my 2b training. Was intimidated abit during the initial stage of the EFR. But grew more confident towards the end. Good that this is mandatory now.

Quite fun to ride frm BBDC, via PIE towards Tuas and then thru the old choa chu kang towards the sarimbun scout camp areas.

EFR is at non peak hours, so riding at expressway is still okay. wait til u own a motorcycle and ride at peak hours on expressway, cars anyhow cut. u will need all the skills u had learnt

Haha.. yea I actually think this is an useful practical lesson to go through..

Also just got my 2b 1 mth back.. And attending this EFR really does give some experience and more confidence for fresh riders who just passed TP. (Well, at leat for me). Quite fun. haha.

It's the EFR on the day after you passed your tp test or you need to come back again another day? Hopefully it's on the day of tp test itself...

If you think you got it, then get it.

EFR is available on the same day of the TP test. You can also choose another day from their schedule.

Attending EFR and keeping the letter they mail to you later after the course will let you choose an earlier test date for 2A. I heard there will be an admin fee for an earlier test date (pls correct me if i'm wrong).

I'm probably the last few batch who took the EFR when it's still not mandatory yet, and I have the certificate that allows me to get earlier test dates for class 2A. Anyone here knows how to book for test date with the EFR certificate? The counter told me vaguely that I couldn't book at CDC, and I have to go to traffic police department during office hour with the certificate to book. Is it the TP department just upstairs of CDC or it's somewhere else?

Just pass my TP few days ago. the EFR is still free at CDC.

To me its a good experience to ride at 80+ kph. But scary as the bike feels like its going to tear.. bike vibrate like no body business.. Need to drag till 8k RPM to feel the bike picking up (not use to high RPM as for family cars, max max 6k rpm already very high..

Now sourcing for a 2B bike. Will find chance to practice on expressway during low low traffic, slowly gain experience..

It's a really good idea from TP to have this. But the instructors at BBDC didn't really care about conducting it properly. When I did it last year, I saw a fellow who was really uncomfortable with the high speeds + cross wind nearly langar a few times with the instructors.

Bring to the TP counter, one of the tester in there will find the next available slot which people has booked previously for their TP but had to fall out due to maybe they clock more than 24points... or some other reasons why they cannot come for TP that day and you'll get that slot. Sometimes it can save u more than a month of waiting time :)

The training bikes are all quite "chui" already... when you get your own bike going up to 80 will be alot smoother than what you experienced :)

even with a phantom.... hehee
