GST when purchasing bike

Hi guys,

 

When purchasing a bike, how is GST applied?

 

eg bike costs $23,000

Does it mean $23,000 x 0.05 = $1,150

 

Below is what I found on onemotoring.

 

Goods & Services Tax (GST)

GST is approximately 5% (with effect from 1 Jan 2004) of the Custom Duty and OMV.

 

So which is which?

1998 RS Aprilia & KTM200

2000 License gone

2002 Honda SP

2004 Honda CB400

2005 Honda CBR1000RR5 FZ9xxxZ

2007 Honda Fit 1.5 Vtec SGU2xxxR

2008 Mitsubishi Colt Version R SJF9xxxG
