any recommendation for shops to install Hel brake lines for my S4? I understand prices for Hel is steeper than Spiegler & venhill. But if got good offer from shops, I dun mind getting it.

Almost al braided brake lines are made with a Teflon tube inner covered by a wound stainless steel protective outer sleeve.

The important measurements are internal diameter, overall diameter and wall thickness. Add to that the length of the hose, measured from end to end of Banjo Fitting.

Banjo Fitteings are the small round shaped bits on the end of your brake hose. They are held in place by a hydraulic fluid connection bolt, which is hollow allowing passage of fluid.

The banjo fitting will also have a small washer placed either side of it to complete a seal to the bolt.

Strictly speaking you could eliminate the banjo fitting, washers and bolt by simply using the correct size and thread pith of hydraulic female end on the hose.

Unless you are having that done at a hydraulic hose replacement specialist I would not recommend you try that yourself.

BTW hydraulic hose specialists do sell braided teflon hose by the length, its much cheaper that way. They also stock a wide range of fittings for all sorts of connections.
