Hi, i'm thinking of getting a GT200, but have some few question to check with the GT riders here.

 

1) How much does a new GT200 cost roughly?

 

2) How much does a second hand GT200 cost roughly?

 

3) 1 sparkplug? 1 litre of engine oil only?

 

4) Belt can last how long before change?

 

5) What kind of maintenance do i have to take note as i have never ride an auto bike before?

Hello everyone.

 

I just bought a 2nd hand LX150 and I'm really enjoying the ride everyday.... especially zipping around town running errands.

 

Just have a couple of questions to ask the LX owners here.

 

1. After I leave the bike engine off for about 3 hours (not overnight), I cannot (electric) start the engine with one or two tries. Normally 3rd time onwards then managed to start the engine. Is that normal?

 

2. I read in the manual there is a tool set "underneath the seat inside a special container". Do you have the tools? I can't seem to find them leh.

 

3. There is a small hook (not the retractable bag hook) under the seat accessible only by opening the seat. What do you used it for? Road tax disc?

I have never encountered this problem before. Did you throttle a bit when you start your bike?

You must check with the seller. Ususally, given to us when we 1st bought the bike.

Are you referring to the hook for the helmet?

Either u never hold the brake lever tight, all u nvr press "start" and throttle long enuf or finally, nid to change ur spark plug.... always a good practice dat after u got a 2nd hand bike... change all the oil and plugs to new... so u will know how to manage ur maintenance schedule.. cost abit in beginning, but in long term.. do much good~

Not in a "special container" but a black plastic bag with tools in it.. u cun find it, probz with the last owner.. usualli therez a strap underneath the seat for u to hold ur tools

Itz a helmet hook lahh.. but dunoe if hang there will scratch the paint works not... can hang ur grocery there??

EO, hub oil and oil filter onli rite?? wash air filter? anything else??? dunoe why natsumi 1st servicing change spark plug for... hmmmm ...

GT machine price is S$7,324.

 

As for 2nd hand GT, per record, about $4.3K to $6.5K (Not inclusive of transfer fee, insurance & etc.....

the standard EO (recommended is fully syn 5w40 grade), oil filter. Hub oil need not, jus check level. Spark plug not usually changed though. But if u wanna change to a particular brand like denso becos of its durability or firing also can.

 

U can actually bring it to PSC, free labour. Jus bring ur preferred EO there.

btw, I find the signal light switch level a bit "loose".... donno how to describe... like able to rock and slide at the same time. sometimes I'm not sure the signal light is turned on or not after I pushed the level, have to look down to check the display. Are such things covered under the Piaggio 2-year warranty? If not, roughly how much to replace the switch?

jus ride down to piaggio and they will dismantle the handlebar casing and fix it back properly.
