I'm getting 30-32km/l constantly. But that's with the fuel catalyser Nanoball. you guys should get it, skeptical at first but it works man..

That figure's with the fact that i've got Dr Pulley rollers for faster pick-up, so I really should be getting 27km/l without the fuel catalyser..

 

Anw I guess the authorize dealer is obligated to fix the major problems such as fuel pump but forget it when it comes to niggly details such as falling chrome bits and signal switch.. God damn the service counter people's horrible communication skills and lacking attitude.

Anw Vai, I'm thinking of selling my GTS300, getting class 2 in march. Registered july 09, mileage 7000km. Honestly, problem free now after the initial period of ownership when i got them fixed, none with authorized agent ADH.. Drop me a sms at 9785 4055 if you're interested..

hey thx stan for the input!

 

mileage wise seems reasonable for an auto bike. falling items? tats horrible. japanese bikes dun usually have such problems, in my opinion.

 

anyway, wat was the price back at tat time when u purchased it, if u dun mind telling? i nd a comparison so i can estimate the reasobleness of the prices the shops are quoting.

is vespa px150 2 stroke or 4 stroke?

 

and is it comfortable to ride? i'm 1.76 cm, very skinny.

Suggest you buy a non-restored "ah-pek" vespa if it's your first... you'll be less likely to get ripped off... you'll not cry when you fall off and scratch it... you can sell it for the same money you bought it for...

I am almost set my mind on buying either the GTS 300 Super or the GTV 250. However it isn't very encouraging to hear about all these faults on the machines. Is there anyone here that recommends a dealer which offers good price as well as service standard is high?

hey im in e same boat!!

 

i guess we're lucky and smart enuf to have researched abt the bikes first before bilndly purchasing it. lol.

 

apparently, its not only vespa models tat are suffering from poor QC. gilera is another make tat have a lot of probs, despite seeing sooo many of em otr. so i conclude tat either italian mid tier brands are not reliable in terms of basic QC or the distributor themselves do not have strict QC to ensure tat the bikes are free from errors. sigh.

 

anyway, which bike shops have u asked abt the prices for these 2 models? dun mind share with me?

at wad mileage will ya guys change ur scooter's belt?? and how much?

 

belt change every 12,000km.

cost varies. GT & LX uses different belt.

nothing worth having comes easy.

Maybe we have to get a little messed up, before we can step up.
