I went to 2 other shops to quote the machine price, insurance and etc. The price is very much the same for all 3 shops. I went to the main vespa shop too. The price is alot more expensive than the dealers.

Did I get cheated for the insurance?

All my friends say my insurance is very expensive.

They are riding bigger cc bikes and their insurance is cheaper than mine.

Fire & Theft: $910

Third Party: $580

You can try calling the insurance companies for direct quotations.

 

I paid $270 for my LX150 fire & theft insurance with NTUC Income.

 

But I am older and passed my 2B quite many years ago.

1- any age before 31 will be more ex.

generally how it's grouped is as below. actual not 100% sure though.

 

grp 1: 21 and below

grp 2: 22-23

grp 3: 23-25

grp 4: 26-30

grp 5: 31 onwards....

 

2. there is a p plate charge for all insurance company - typically at 150.

 

you will see a big drop when u renew your insurnace next yr at age 26.

 

yours is considered reasonable as i know friends who is p plate buy honda SP whose insurance is $1300 plus plus.....

Hi guys, i've been riding my GT200 for a couple of months now and i simply adore it.

 

Been wanting to install stereo speakers and stuff. Anybody can advise on where and approx cost for everything?

 

Those who have already installed mind posting some pics as to show where you placed the speakers and hows is the vibration affecting the music flow?

Hi i had meet a buyer who want to sell his Vespa ET8 150cc

here are some fault i had find

 

1)kick start is spoilt(there are no tension on the kickstart)

2) right side brake lever is not working there is no brake at all

3)the speedometer time doesn't display anything

4)engine knocking sound when start up (after start up there is no more strange sound)

5)the piece of plastic where the warning adhesive labels is chip off( need to change and spray a new piece)

 

 

for the above pls advise how much the repair cost will be?
