trust the 2012 model is out. kawa still keep the 2011 body for the er4f. so parts has no issue.

 

but go for the latest. it looks good too.

read the the earlier post for the handling of the er6f.

 

pick up speed? that depends on where you come from. if your previous rides are of the fierce ones like haya, zx10, fjr etc, then the pick up may not be that quick. but it may not be that far either.

 

if your previous rides are scooter, mostly class 2b or super 4 thingy, then the pick up is a lot faster.

 

top speed? check on youtube, it's 211km/h.

hi all, the 2011 and upcoming 2012 er6f looks great..

 

I'm currently riding an 06 er6n bought from a friendly gentleman from sbf..

 

so far, great class 2 bike for singapore and easy to handle. great f/c as well.

 

However, since we are on this topic I may be considering selling it in the year 2012 due to personal commitments.

 

If anyone is interested please PM me.. sorry didn't want to make this a sale thread haha! but yeah 2012 er6f looks great!

just swopped my free gifts of a top box and metal brake hose with givi pannier v35 with a top up of $850.

 

it fits nicely on the er6f cos the rack and bracket is designed specially for this model.

 

now, i am ready for a trip up north.

singapore - hatyai - phuket - hatyai - singapore.

 

total 2900km.

 

4th gear rocks. very stable and secure when use for overtaking, twisty road, speeding up to 160km/h.

 

5th and 6th gear seem unstable even on nsh.

 

need a higher windshield, definitely.

so far, hav not seen any bike shop bring in yet. got to be patient, this er6f or er6n are not so popular on singapore road. so many agents oso reluctant to bring in.

 

like looi's and albert motor got a few 2011 version got stuck and not selling.

 

so, will they bring in the 2012 version, i think they have to think long long...

 

that's why when i spotted the 2011 version, i grab.

 

and shortly, 2012 version is out.

 

dammned, i still love my 2011 version.

the tall windshield bought from eagle screen australia allows me to do 150km/h with 6th gear with stability. windblast has been reduced tremendously.

 

i am spoiled.

 

 

with givi pannier and tall windshield, i am ready for another trip.
