Can listen to music on Bluetooth headset?

Hi .. I am using a Nokia ... Can I use the Bluetooth headset to listen to music in my phone via Bluetooth? I ask the shop ... they say Bluetooth headset can only use for phone call .. nt for listening radio and music. true?

I am using nokia too. I tried before. No problem can listen to music.

 

Using V3 bths n the Nokia HS-26W bths.

no problem using bluetooth to listen music from Nokia hp.

 

the only problem is that if there incoming call. its wouldnt automatic goes back to MP3 player after the call is missed.

wo.. thanks bros ... for your inputs ... lucky i ask here .. otherwise I would never get a bluetooth headset .... Anyway .. bt headset issued with motorola phones can use with nokia phones or vice vesa?

I have got a sony ericsson (SE) bluetooth headset that I will use with my previous SE phone Recently I bought a nokia phone, I tried to connect to the SE headset, it doesn't work....

 

 

I was about to ask around when you come out with tis topic.

 

If still i can't get it work out, then I will have to try selling it to subsidise for a new nokia headset. Or is there anyone who has a nokia headset and recently bought a SE phone would like to exchange 1-for-1?

Hmm .. just now I went to do some readups ... Seems like the BT headset shd not be brand sensitive..... It is only dependent on the version of BT ... If ur SE BTHS veri old liao?

FYI. MP3 streaming over your bluetooth headset is not determined by your headset, nor bluetooth version.

 

different BT version mainly means different transfer speeds

 

its a type of bluetooth profile known as A2DP.

has to be supported by your phone AND your bluetooth headset

 

read your technical specs of your phone.

A2DP only provide stereo streaming. If your hp got A2DP and headset dun have, the music quality will only be in mono.

 

The phone must have AVRCP in order to Transmit stereo quality to a non

A2DP haedset.

I discovered recently in one of the china handphones that one of the phones provide support to stream music from the video files to bluetooth stereo headset.
