Apparently, the ignitor coil had issues. :|

Once replaced, new one should last for many years (not one of the parts we can DIY). Which bike shop did you go to btw?

Just curious, as we (PKs) more or less know which are the good and the not so honest shops.

Southern motors, heard some bad reviews, but still had the warranty for it so I might as well right.

BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT, just now, after visiting a friend in little india, when I inserted my key and tried to turn the bike on, nothing would start. In the end wind up push start, then go pump gas, and then push start again then go home.

I really do believe that there is a major, major issue with my wiring. Is there anyway to change it? Cuz I've seen the wires, they don't look too pretty. Getting them fixed would probably mean just more insulating tape being wrapped here and there. =(

I'm considering just winging it and changing mechs. Which would you recommend?

P.S okay i just found out about the edit post function. Sorry for whacking the posts own time own target style.

pm if you wan go shop walk walk ih the west, got a trusted mech

haha actually well i think phantoms don't waste time, just go to a mech you are comfortable with, disregard the "warranty".. its too much of a hassle to run to bukit merah every now and then unless you stay there of course =P

Just helped a couple friends inspect and tune up their 'new' Phantoms. If you need any tips we have a little arsenal of secret techniques for maintenence and riding :D

I also just got a phantom and am looking to optimize the fuel consumption. Can help advise?
