Btw guys,

i'm now running in at 680km, But the bike just started experiencing vibrations over 4k RPM today.

Its like a constant light vibration and the engine idling doesnt sound constant anymore. Its like varying and hopping.

Is this normal and should i just change my engine oil now?

 

bring it in to a mech or sumone who knows engines.. lite vibration is normal but the varying timing cud be sumthin else

i bought puig frame sliders..installed..also bought axle slider but cannot fit..so changed for PUIG engine cap...

 

 

basket, i went 2 motorworld and a few other shops , cant seem to find engnie guard or light protector

your number plate sticked quite low. will the sides scratch the 2 black plastics panel while riding due to vibration?

i'm looking for brackets for the ERP unit, similar to yours. you custom made it or the bikeshop installed it for you?

 

 

i heard that to custom-made the brackets at seng kwang is about $60. wondering is there any cheaper brackets.

it's normal. i couldnt get used to the heat when i 1st got my fz oso

i was riding spec1 previously

Engine is hotter during break in period... you will feel less heat after break in and using better oil (aka semi-syn or fully syn)

 

BTW cannot compare to S4, usually bigger engine = more heat

i follow manual 0-1000 km , do not ride for prolonged periods , max 7000 rpm(something similar to that)

mine is:

0-500km ~ 50-80km/h (RPM 4k-5k)

500-1000km ~ 70-90 km/h (RPM 5k-6k)

1000-2000km ~ 90-110km/h

2000-5000km ~ whack

Wat do u all tink? Or any other recommendation?
