The price calculated by the LTA web is I guess before rebate. Cause I enter 600cc & it came out $400. Shouldnt be mah. Anyway, just renewed half a year road tax & it's $100. So also lazy to find out how much they rebate or how come it's cheaper, compared to the website. :cheeky:

main difference between them are the bhp, u want more horse power get fz1, but it'll put a bigger hole in your wallet cos of the steeper insurance n rd tax. think fz 6 will be gd enough for the daily communtin in sg and the ocassional tourin in Malaysia :cheeky:

guys, am i right on this :cheeky:

FZ6 is a great bike. Just don't be afraid to open the throttle and the pickup will still be good. I ride in Singapore, and it's more than enough. Cruising on the FZ6 is great, and roll on even in top gear from 120 kmh onwards to 160 kmh takes only a blink of an eye (dun there go faster than that in S'pore). Agree that the main difference between the 2 bikes is in power. Though I've never ridden a FZ1 before, I am more than happy with the handling and posture on my FZ6 (can ride all day), even taking into consideration the can-be-improved suspension and mid-range. All else on this bike is great. Although I'm thinking of changing, it's not because the FZ6 is no good, but because there are many many good bikes out there still waiting to be ridden... heh heh heh

its ur choice at the end of the day.... on wat u really need? cost savings or better power/handling. some can tolerate the bike, some can't and many sold for that reason after a year or less.

i chose power/handling, thus i sold the fz6 with no regrets. :goodluck:

hint: fz1 fz1 fz1 fz1 fz1 fz1 fz1 fz1 fz1 fz1 fz1 fz1 fz1 fz1 fz1 fz1 fz1 fz1 fz1 fz1 fz1 fz1

actually i have find research from web site regarding fz6 and fz1... i think will prefer the looks of fz1 cos look more fierce...

power and handling is also one of the main factor i look out for...

btw you upgrade to fz1?

The more I ride my SV, the less I care about going to the annual bike show and looking at new,

or expensive, or exotic machinery. I'm continuing to mod my bike into exactly what I want it,

and enjoying every mile I put on it.

Actually I like Z1000, but the one thing that make me wont buy it cause the engine is only 953cc. IMO Unless it's closer to 1000cc then worth buying.

Is it up-right sitting posture?

dont think the sitting posture on the z1000 is as straight as fazer cos it's more sporty. is that right pauche? I dont mind getting a z1000 as my second bike if i have extra to spend. 2 bikes r better than 1 car. :cheeky:

its on handlebars, like the fz1, not clip-ons like sports bikes.

riding posture is upright, not prone down.
