under yamaha's recommendation, changing of EO is at mileage of 1,000km, 10,000km, 20,000km, etc...

thought even use fully syn EO also have to change at every 5,000km... how come this one can change every 10,000km?

anyone can enlighten/verify? thanks.

Most raincoats can keep your clothes dry . Water seeps in usually at the collar area bcoz it is always uncomfortable or not fully possible to seal the collar / neck area where the water enters .

The thing i hate about riding in the rain is actually my shoes getting wet coz the

combined stink of my soaked socks and wet shoes will drive my colleagues far far away from me.

i would think otherwise...

they can keep the bikes expensive... so that it can be maintained as a unique class of its own (and of course should be cheaper than the sport bikes)

but the add-ons should be cheaper (than OEMs) to encourage people to add bit by bit... thats good marketing...

thats why i am quite take aback when i read the recommendation... in fact there are more, for oil filter change every 20,000km, for air filter change every 40,000km...

the list goes on and i can really remember all off hand...

somemore, to think of it... in bigger countries where they travel long distance... their every 10,000km stress on the EO is like our 12,000km (roughly) stress with city riding...

hence i really cannot quite understand... what about those people to service their bikes at HL... what are their recommendations?

maybe when i go for my 1,000km service that time i check with their mech...
