If i full settle my existing bike at my bikeshop, will i be penalised and have to pay extra money to the finance for early settlement? I was told by my bikeshop tat there is a finance charge if I'll to full settle. Question is, I'm paying full settlement with the existing interest. And I've had the bike for more than a year.

 

Or if I'll to trade in my bike to another shop, lets say shop take in at $3,000 and my installment balance $1500 that means I'll get back $1500?

 

Pls enlighten me.

Sad to said,there are some shops with this type of policy.It was stated in the agreements you signed(likely u never see when you signed)

Heard its about $500 for early settlement and the interest rebate will not be given back to you for the remaining installments cleared.

Only 2 shops tat does not do that,Loois and Mah.

 

Now if you trade in yr bike,lets say,shop take in at $3k,yr installments left $1.5K,they settle with yr previous shop $2k (include the early settlement).Then you will take back $1k.
