any meet up for a group bike wash cum LKS tonight?? :D

 

Boo, how about giving your bike a bike wash at our place? push bike out in the rain and let the rain wash for you?..:D

Why Gen2 Fazer cannot touch rainwater ar? Any part of the bike that's not waterproof?

Ya i do understand that a bit of water will get thru the fuel tank cap but there's a drainage that leaks water that goes in thru the cap wad... Ain't that enough to leaks out excessive water?

Fazer Bro out there. got a question.

 

My 8 months old Fazer 1000 seems to be having problem. my bike will jerk when moving off and this happen after the bike is fully warm up (ie travelled for a distance). it is like the power comes and goes like that. the idling is not right at all. this normally happen below 3500rpm.

 

Had flush the fuel tank as we suspect it was due to rain water in tank. but still have the problem. any advise?

I dun think water problem. I'm facing same problem under 2500rpm too. Not sure if the fuel line may be "obstructed"?

Mine is quite bad. sometimes it will goes beyond 5000rpm..it is like bike going to die while accelerating

This was a known problem. Your FZ1 engines are a direct derivative of that engine.... oh fcuk yeah... in fact, they directly transplanted the engine over.

I am now suspecting it is the TPS out of syn, cos when i gas it hard, it delay for a while, jerk and jerk than the power comes.
