hey guys..... juz a question me need to clarify.. me haf been ridin S4 fer almost 2 years now n me wanna upgrade to a FZ1..

 

me noe dat FZ1 has 2 types.. 1 is d touring type.. n d other iz so called d streetfighter.. when ridin me S4.. me found out dat when me ride wit me jacket on.. me tend to sway.. n makin me ride sum sort of unstable.. it feels like me ridin on a light frt end.. me travellin at bout 110++km/hr.. since d streetfighter type iz almost of d same design on S4.. iz diz effect gonna b d same on d streetfighter type of FZ 1??

 

d streetfighter looks more robust n meaner to me.. n price diff isnt alot.. but me juz need to noe b4 actually buyin it.. hope u guyz do understand wat me tryin to say

the streetfighter one is more for local riding, i prefer the fairing one cos i used to go touring in malaysia/thailand

If you want to constantly ride at this kinda speed (above 100kph)... I suggest you take the touring type... But if you just wanna use it to pop wheelie... do all sorts of funny stuff w/o constant high speed then take the naked version...

clock 30,000km in 9 months is another thing lor ...

I don't intend to make it a long one... Just maybe a 3 or 4 days trip... Meaning taking a 1 or 2 days leave of your weekdays (the other 2 using weekends to cover)... It's like a 2 nights stay at Hatyai... Will it be too xiong? I feel that it's okay... 3D2N sounds reasonable for me...

 

Cause from my understanding... a trip between GP and Hatyai is estimated to be 10 - 12 hrs... or even much shorter than that... So my rough plan is as follows:

 

DAY1 4am - meet at GP then set off to Hatyai straight

DAY1 12pm - cross thailand border

DAY2 - Explore and relax at Hatyai

DAY3 11am - leave Hatyai for SG

DAY3 9pm latest - reach back SG

I ride around in singapore a lot. Sometimes i need to top up after 2 days. And a part from the trips. We also organise makan trips to kulai and we used to LKS almost daily and sometimes 3 sessions a day at different places.

 

Missing the good ol times rite ? Get a bike soon .

FC 15-17km/l , maintenance same as super 4 except tyres n other parts more ex .

When do you intend to go? I myself have not gone that far on a bike but very interested to try. I can try and check if i could accompany you for the ride up to Hatyai if time permits me.
