I guess you cud ask the riders tat went to Racewerks or read reviews they posted to know more. I dun tink there r much free stuff given away but from wat i read, their service r sure good value 4 your money. Worth every cents for ppl tat r into modifications.

Racewerks is alright.

 

Not many other mechanics i can speak to using english.

 

i wont say cheap though. but i get less bullshit crap free advice than i get elsewhere.

Reasonable price, just that the mechanic (Norman particularly) knows stuffs and don't bullshit to you. He don't mind sharing what he knows with his customers.

 

What I like is that whatever parts they replaced, they will show you the parts they had taken out and the packaging of the new parts they have used. A good gesture to reassure the customers that they are not being ripped off with more inferior components.

For about 3.5L with filter, it cost me about $85 for fully syn maxima.

I used 2.7L with filter changed and the oil level is near the upper limit at the Oil Level Indicator Window.

think it should be cheaper now, 17.8 without insurance is the price i bought 2 yrs back with ASP, think last yr only cost around 17k without insurance

I can't remember the price... it's like 18-20 per bottle for Maxima4 Extra... and I used Yamaha oil filter.

 

Weird thing is....

 

Although the manual indicated 3.3L with filter changed and 2.8L without (Norman even double checked for me), filling up at that volume became too much for my bike (the whole oil level indicater was flooded). Ended up i decided to fill 2.7L with oil filter changed then top up as I ride over the couple of days should oil level drop below minimum level. Till now, that had not happened
