hey guys most probably im gettin a fazer.. but which should i get?? the fully naked or semi faring?? 1000's or 600's

 

can u all list out the pros and cons of it??

It rained tis morning ? I didnt notice . No wonder felt so comfy in bed . :D

 

Next time bring along raincoat lah . U saw how i bring mine arnd rite ? :sweat:

It all depends on wat ur riding style is . All models of the Fazers r good .

You're too nice la.... or politically correct. :D LOL.

 

Lotsa owners say that the 04 FZ6s are a bit gutless in the midrange. I've test riden one, so, yeah... can feel it. Compared to the 02 FZS600, it's sorely lacking bottom end.

 

But then the FZ1 is also weak in the bottom compared to the Gen 1.

Ya lor have to blame to Euro emissions lor . Most newer generations of bikes tend to have their power move further up the rev range . N the drop in torque in the FZ1 mid range is a :slapforehead:

The new models have better top end. Just lack of midrange torque compared to earlier models.

 

But in anycase, you also lan lan have to pick new models. Unless you don't mind buying bikes more than 3 or 4 yrs old.

 

 

Maintenance cost the same. Road tax abt $100 diff per yr. Insurance diff by a couple of hundreds. OTR price diff by abt 4K.

 

So how?

 

 

Some ppl say the FZ6 looks better. Some say the FZ1 looks better. I think it's subjective.

 

I rode the R1, then the FZS600, and now a FZ1. Personally I think 600s are too weak. And for long distance touring, they incur more wear from higher RPM operation, as well as worse fuel consumption. But in town, they're cooler and easier to ride.

 

U see what u wanna do with the bike lor. Tour more? Putt around in town more?

Yeah will see whether my naked can incorporate that.... but the tailbag should fit... should put the raincoat in.

Thinking of outrunning the rain... obviously FZ1 cannot.... wahahahaha sian 1/2

 

Wore the mesh jacket somemore so waited under flyover and watch people go by.... saw one couple stopped under....GF/wife got off.... and with her skirt.....jumped into a waterproof pants and nearly falling over.... hopping around... wahahahha...

Its the red color tube thing which i stored my raincoat n is strapped to the pillion seat .
